Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times

Yellow Teas

True yellow tea; which is only grown in China, is prepared in a similar way to green tea. During processing, the leaves are left damp to slightly oxidize the tea, turning the leaves extends the withering time and diminishes astringency, this also gives the finished liquor a warm golden hue. This is the unique processing that makes yellow tea have its own unique flavor. On preparing yellow tea you should use boiling water that has cooled for 1-2 minutes (to about 190°F) and steep 2 to 4 minutes.

Green Dragon Tea
